Layer3 Campaign

The birds started off the month with a bang, launching our second campaign on @layer3xyz , encouraging users to learn about Magpie Protocol, the Magpie Mafia, and test out how easy it is to do a cross-chain swap. In just a couple of weeks, we had over 2100 participants grabbing themselves some XP, as well as a rare chest. If you missed this one, don’t worry, a little birdy told me there may be some more community campaigns in the works!

New UX Teasers

Familiar and comforting, like a pizza, but upgraded with new features and new look for an even better experience, like an even better pizza. Sorry, the birds love a good slice, the Magpie Mafia is in NYC after all. If you haven’t had a chance to see some of the new upcoming changes, take a look for yourself.

Token 2049 🇸🇬

The Magpie team sponsored and participated in Token2049 Singapore! We greatly appreciated the chance to participate in Token2049 and engage with numerous innovators and users within the industry. Our experience during the Token2049 was truly exceptional.

- We were delighted to host numerous partners at our booth over the 2 days of events and were grateful to have meaningful conversations about potential partnerships and synergies with several projects.

- The side events that we attended proved to be invaluable for networking with partners and builders alike.

- It was an incredible privilege to connect with a multitude of like-minded individuals and companies who share our enthusiasm for the future of technology in DeFi.

It was an amazing experience that we found to be enlightening and productive and we’re especially grateful to all of the people who took time out of their schedule to meet with us, be they builders, partners, or attendees. 🙏

Blog posts — DeFi UX: It’s History, Present, and Magpie’s Role in its Future

To paraphrase a bit from the blog itself: DeFi has transformed the world of finance, offering a permissionless and borderless ecosystem where users can access a wide range of financial services without relying on traditional intermediaries. But even so, it’s historically lacking and is still lacking in one key area: the user-experience (UX). In order for DeFi to succeed, it will require a better UX, and Magpie plans on seeing to that future. We invite you to take about five to ten minutes of your day to read a bit about how the DeFi UX has evolved. Be sure to stay tuned, as we’ve already published Part 2, where we delve even deeper into this topic.

Magpie Mafia

The Magpie Mafia continues to grow, and those within its ranks continue to climb. At over 8500 birds strong, we’ve got a bird army that’s to be reckoned with. We also introduced the Second-in-Wing, the second highest rank within the Magpie Mafia, right hand to the elusive <redacted>.
